Why we built finly.lk
The Problem
Each bank publishes offers in its own format, on its own pages, updated on its own schedule. Comparing across cards means opening ten tabs, copying percentages into a spreadsheet, and hoping you didn't miss a better deal.
Our Solution
We built the comparison tool we wished existed. One feed, every active offer, sortable by discount, bank, merchant, or expiry. "Which card gets me the best deal at X" now takes ten seconds, not ten tabs.
Our Promise
We don't take payment from banks or merchants to feature deals. No affiliate links, no sponsored placements, no "preferred partner" lists. If it's on a bank's public deals page, it's on ours — period.
From bank website to your screen
Our automated scraper visits each Sri Lankan bank's public credit-card promotions page daily, extracts the details, and makes them searchable here.
We Scan
Every day, our scraper visits the public credit-card promotions pages of all major Sri Lankan banks. We extract the discount percentage, eligible merchants, valid cards, and expiry dates.
We Aggregate
All offers land in one database, normalized and deduplicated. We tag each deal with its bank, category, and merchant so you can filter and sort however you like.
You Save
Search by merchant, filter by bank or category, sort by biggest discount or ending soonest. Click through to the bank's page to claim the offer. Simple.
What we stand for
finly.lk is a small, independent project. We have no financial relationship with any bank, merchant, or payment network. We don't accept payment to feature, rank, or promote any deal. The data you see is the data the banks publish — nothing more, nothing less.
Every deal links back to the bank's original promotions page. We show you the source, the last-updated timestamp, and the exact terms the bank published. If something looks off, you can verify it directly. No hidden fine print, no editorial spin.
Our scraper runs daily and the "Updated" timestamp in the header reflects the most recent successful data pull. We don't independently verify that a merchant honours an offer in-store or that minimum spends are accurate — we publish what the banks say. Always check the bank's page before you swipe.
Affiliate links, sponsored placements, and "preferred partner" lists are explicitly out of scope. We will never rank a deal higher because a bank paid us to. The default sort is "biggest discount" — a pure numeric extraction. You can re-sort by ending-soon, newest, bank, or merchant name. No hidden weighting.
finly.lk does not have user accounts. We don't set marketing cookies, we don't embed third-party tracking pixels, and we don't share data with ad networks. Your saved deals and recently-viewed list live in your browser's localStorage — they never leave your device.

If you spot a deal we're showing as active that's actually expired — or vice versa — let us know. We aim to fix data errors within a working day.
